The Miami baseball team beat Duke 10-2 on Saturday to win the weekend series and finish the regular season 37-18 overall and 18-12 in the ACC. Miami will enter the ACC Tournament as the fourth seed. After losing the series opener 5-3 on Thursday, Miami rallied for a 10-8 win on Friday night before the Saturday victory.
Duke began the series by rallying from a 3-1 deficit with single runs in each of the last four innings for a 5-3 victory. Miami had an epic rally on Friday night to defeat Duke. The Hurricanes scored three in the eighth inning, two in the ninth and two in the 11th to win 10-8 on a walk-off home run by catcher Carlos Perez.
