It appears that Leon Edwards will make his next title defense against Belal Muhammad at UFC 300 on April 13.
Edwards recently attended the Aston Villa vs. Burnley soccer game in Birmingham on Saturday, where he received a hero’s welcome. The champion also made an announcement about defending his belt at UFC 300 during an on-pitch interview. Additionally, “Rocky” revealed plans of bringing the UFC to his hometown of Birmingham next year.
“I will defend my belt in April at UFC 300 in Vegas again,” Edwards said. “Then hopefully in the summertime get a fight back home in Birmingham at Villa Park.
