- Another variation of the tale we have heard too often of late. Pitching that was good until a critical breakdown. Not enough offense. A loss in a game that you feel like should have been won.
- Michael Lorenzen took a shutout into the seventh, ultimately leaving the game with two,on and one out in the seventh, the Rangers up 1-0.
- Lorenzen has now started seven games. Five have been solid starts, two have not. Lorenzen is now sporting a 3.61 ERA. He’s exceeded expectations so far.
